Academic Integrity Policy

We care about helping you submit your best work honestly. This page explains exactly what our proofreading and editing service does, and where we draw the line.

What we do

We proofread and edit work that you have already written yourself. You upload your own draft, and a human proofreader returns it with tracked changes and margin comments covering grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, consistency, structure, and formatting. You stay the author of your work, and you choose which suggestions to accept.

What we will not do

  • We do not write essays, papers, dissertations, or assignments from scratch.
  • We do not complete coursework, take-home exams, or timed assessments for you.
  • We do not sell pre-written or model answers.
  • We do not guarantee specific grades or marks.
  • We do not change the meaning of your argument or fabricate sources, data, or citations.

How our proofreading respects academic integrity

Everything we return is delivered as tracked changes and suggestions, not a rewritten document handed back as “done.” You see every edit, you decide what to accept, and the comments are there to help you understand and learn. Your work is reviewed by a human editor.

Your responsibility

Proofreading of your own writing is permitted by most institutions, but the rules vary, and the final submission is always yours. Before using any editing service, please check your school, college, or university’s policy on proofreading and third-party editing, and make sure your use of our service complies with it.

If you have any questions about how we work, email us at pwritingguru@gmail.com before you order.
